If you had to choose one of the coolest venues to get married at in Boston I would have to say, The New England Aquarium! Not only do you get to touch sharks and stingrays you can watch the sunset as you tell the person you love most in this world "I do". That is what Lora and Michael decided to do on March 25, 2017. These two share their love nest in Hollywood California and came 3,000 to share their love with their closest friends and family... oh and a lot of fish! I was lucky to be a part of such a special event. Lora and Michael decided to spend the weekend at the Langham hotel. Which I must say is a spot full of history and charm. They even provided an old car called the "Pink Taxi" to transport the bride and her father to the Aquarium.

Photographing this wedding was dear to my heart. As a friend of the family, I have been photographing them for years. Lora was my husband's best friend's old sister growing up (did you follow that), so I have got to know not only Lora but her very fun extended family! Her amazing grandmother is 101 and attended this wedding in style. A luxury only a few families get. Thank you for having Dragonfly capture such a special moment in your life!

I wish Lora and Michael so much love and happiness as they start their lives as husband and wife.

On August 20th, 2016 David and Georgia had a beautiful seaside wedding in historic downtown Newburyport Massachusetts. They were married under a beautiful tent on the lawn of The Custom House. For a photographer, it's a really amazing spot! You have the water, boardwalk and the historic city as your background! They wanted to keep it traditional and decided not to do a first look. So that moment when she walked down the aisle was the first time he saw her that day. The wedding was a fairy tale wedding with the help of Amy Mclaughin. Who is truly a gifted planner. Amy and her team took care of all the details from the planning to the flowers everything turned out perfectly. I Hope you enjoy perusing through these breathtaking photographs! I wish this beautiful couple so much love and laughter!

Georgia's review of Dragonfly Photography

My fiance and I made the unwise decision to move across the country weeks before our wedding. As a result we were too busy to meet up with Rachael before the big day. Regardless, she showed up and did the most wonderful job. She meshed right in with our guests and totally "got" what it was we were looking for in a photographer. We mostly wanted candid shots that captured the true ambiance of the night and she provided that beautifully. Our group shots also look very natural and not the least bit rigid...she did a great job of making that process quick, fun and painless for us and our families. I absolutely plan on using Rachael again for family photos and my business photos, and you would be very wise to book her for your own wedding! -Georgia and David
