I am a firm believer in making the most out of every day you are given. Life is too short to not pursue your dreams and find your happiness. So that is what I have done. The two things I love most about my job are, getting to be a part of someone else's most intimate part of life as I document it for them to share with their family and friends. My other favorite part is when my clients become my friends or they already are! Family is everything to me! My large family uses any excuse to have a party and celebrate. So I feel right at home at weddings.
I spend most of my spare time with my baby Clementine, my awesome husband Neal and my two little rescue dogs Miles Davis and Ellie Mae Clampett. Clementine is just a joy and both Neal and I adore her! Miles will be 13 this year, which I can't even believe... he was my first baby and I adopted him when I lived in Santa Monica, California. Ellie Mae - who is sweet and spunky was adopted from Great Dog Rescue right after we got back from our honeymoon in April 2016.
We purchased a 1850s fixer upper farm in 2018... this has been a major undertaking as we completely gutted the house and built it back up. We moved in in March 2019 right before I had Clementine. We are almost done with the house just putting the finishing touches on which of course would have been done but the baby took up all our free time. We are looking forward to having a garden this summer and in the future farm animals!!!
After lots of debate, the conclusion is that my hobbies are taking care of things. Besides the baby, dogs, house and my husband, I have a saltwater fish tank, a lot of plants, and a garden in the summer.
Traveling is my favorite! It breaks up the daily routine and you get to experience different places, people, and culture. Vacation always makes me feel new and alive so I am looking forward to planning my next adventure! Dragonfly Photography's home base is Portsmouth, New Hampshire but service Maine to Rhode Island. If your wedding is out of the area I am always excited to travel.
As I enter my 13th season as Dragonfly Photography, I am excited to carry on my tradition as a lifestyle photographer, making you look and feel your best in front of the camera.
Lastly, I like to talk. I also like to listen. So give me a call, email me or text - let's chat! Stay connected and check us out on Facebook or GET IN TOUCH!
